How to Change Your Windows 8 Language Settings

Before changing the language in Windows 8, you will need to install the desired language pack. Follow these steps:

1. Move your mouse cursor to the bottom right corner and select the Settings option.

2. Click on Control Panel.

3. Go to the Clock, Language, and Region option and click on Add a language.

4. Click on Add a language again.

5. Select your desired language and click on Open.
Note: If the language has variants, choose the one you prefer and click on Open.

6. Click on Options next to the language.

7. Select Download language pack.

8. The Windows 8 language pack will begin to download and install.

9. Once downloaded and installed, repeat step six and click on Options again.

10. Click on Make this the primary language. Log out and log back in to apply the change.
