Things to Consider Before Installing Office 2016

  1. This product is intended for installation on a single computer and, once activated, it will remain permanently activated.
  2. There is no upgrade path available for this product. Should you wish to upgrade to the 2019 or 2021 version, you will need to purchase the new version.
  3. We currently offer both the Home and Student edition and the Professional Plus edition. The Home edition is suitable for personal and educational use, whereas the Professional Plus edition is intended for business use. Note that if your business is subject to Microsoft audits, we advise contacting Microsoft directly to inquire about Retail licences and their audit compliance.
  4. This licence is not suitable for use on a Server running RDS CALs. Only volume licences will function in such environments, which are not available through our store.
  5. This version of Office is compatible only with Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows 11.
  6. Prior to installing and activating this product, you must remove any existing Office editions on the PC. This includes new PCs, which typically come pre-installed with a trial edition of Office 365. We recommend using the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant to check and remove previous installations. Click on the following link to download the Microsoft tool.
